1966 Chevy C10 Long Bed Pickup Truck

This beautiful machine was originally meticulously restored by Tuba Trucks of Fayetteville, Arkansas to a high factory standard. Most recently it was handed over to Revival in Austin, Texas to make tasteful modern upgrades that increased the overall drivability and reliability.

This 1966 Chevrolet C10 truck has every option you want in a daily driver. It has been fitted with power steering, power front disk brakes, power windows, power door locks, Deluxe air conditioning (very rare) among many other options. The 327 engine has been rebuilt and backed by an automatic overdrive transmission which makes highway driving a dream. The engine has also been fitted with a fully integrated electronic Edelbrock Pro-Flow direct port fuel injection and engine ignition control system. From there, Revival upgraded the cooling system to a modern standard with an overrated  aluminum radiator with dual electric fans that will forever keep this truck and its A/C nice and cool while towing in the hottest environments on earth. Every single part was repainted and refinished during the restoration and meticulous care taken during assembly to make sure this truck looks and drives much better than when it was new. Everything rubber was replaced, all wear items were replaced and/or updated to give the truck a better quality driving experience than when it was new.

The interior looks new and all was repainted/replaced during the restoration. A full Deluxe gauge set lives in the dashboard, including a factory tachometer and factory Deluxe air conditioning controls and duct work. To make the truck feel even more modern it has been completely insulated using Dyna-Mat sound deadener to give the truck a very quiet interior. All new black loop pile carpeting has been fitted, along with a houndstooth seat cover and all new foam on the factory bench seat. A custom cup holder has been integrated into the factory bench seat. All rubber (door seals, glass, etc.)  is brand new, all glass has been replaced and the interior lighting has been upgraded w/ LED bulbs for better visibility. A Custom AutoSound stereo has been fitted w/ bluetooth connectivity along with a pair of 8” speakers in the kick panel and a subwoofer under the seat to keep the stock appearance inside the truck. All A/C ductwork has been sealed/insulated for maximum interior cooling in Texas. All wiring has been replaced with a brand new factory style harness. Revival even upgraded the interior with new modern power windows and remotely operated power door locks. This is no small feat as everything now operates perfectly with no rattles, no squeaks and modern reliability. The stock window cranks even actuate the power window switches to keep the factory appearance. When you close the door on this vintage machine, you’re certain to not believe how quiet and smooth the operational ‘thump’ is as it now feels more like the close of a modern Porsche door than that of an old Chevy pickup truck! Additional LED courtesy lighting has been added under dash to further increase the overall driver experience.

The entire drivetrain was rebuilt replacing all wear items (bushings, ball joints, bearings, etc.), and all components were media blasted and painted during the restoration. The 327 V-8 engine was rebuilt and later fitted with an Edelbrock Pro-Flow EFI kit w/ ignition control. This is a direct port fuel injection system with a simple included handheld tablet computer programmer to allow changes if needed. A dual exhaust fitted with Borla mufflers gives the truck a great sound without being too loud. To keep the engine cool in Texas and while towing, a new Engineered Cooling Products aluminum radiator with dual electric fans has just been fitted along with a 150 amp alternator to keep up with the additional electrical needs. Backing the engine is a TH700r-4 automatic overdrive transmission w/ shift kit which allows great around town driving and low cruise RPM’s on the highway. To further modernize how the truck drives power steering, power disk brakes and an electric parking brake kit have all been added. In addition the suspension has been slightly lowered, using an LMC lowering kit to bring the front down 2” and the rear 2” from the stock height.

The exterior is finished in Brigade Blue with Pure White cab top and side trim inside of the Deluxe trim. The truck is a long-bed, fleet side with a painted oak wood floor and stainless steel trim strips. The front bumper is fitted with rear bumper-ettes, chrome grill and a chrome rear step bumper all part of the Deluxe trim package. The cab is a big back window cab and all rubber and weatherstripping was replaced during the restoration.  - She comes with vintage 1966 Texas Truck Plates
